Bitossi’s Rocchetto vase represents Italian designer and architect Ettore Sottsass at his purest: the modern, even experimental shape of the vase is combined with geometric patterns drawn on its surface and the strong contrast created by the black-and-white color combination. The expressive bottle-shaped vase is a versatile piece of art, serving not only as a vessel for delicate branches and flowers but also as an impressive decorative object on its own. Sottsass originally designed the ceramic Rocchetto vase in 1958.
