valerie objects’ pepper mill boasts a playful, asymmetrical form typical of Dutch designer Maarten Baas. Although the design is based on the archetypal pepper mill, Baas has given it a sketch-like shape that highlights irregularity and imperfection, allowing them to take center stage. The pepper mill looks as if hand-forged from iron but is actually made of durable yet more easily moldable ABS plastic.
