&Tradition Petra VB3 lounge chair, Moonlight sheepskin – oiled walnut

&Tradition’s Petra VB3 armchair is the big sister of the iconic Little Petra chair, designed by Viggo Boesen. The larger Petra is just as charming and soft as its sister, but with a higher backrest, so it now offers the ultimate seating comfort also for taller people. The Petra armchair is upholstered in soft sheepskin, and small wood legs crown its sympathetic look.

Architect Viggo Boesen designed the original Little Petra in 1938. The petite, friendly chair was named after Boesen’s mother-in-law. With its simple and organic appearance, Little Petra is a lovable example of the Danish funkis style of the 1930s. With only about 30 pieces ever produced, the chair became an ultra-rare, highly-priced item at auctions. Thanks to &Tradition’s new production, Little Petra is now available to all design enthusiasts around the globe.
