Tapio Anttila Collection’s Day&Night sofa bed hides more than you might expect from the outside. Resembling a minimalist daybed, the sofa bed’s oak frame and mattresses can be transformed into two separate beds by simply lifting the upper part of the frame on the floor. The bedding for both beds is hidden inside the cushions.

The mattresses of the Day&Night sofa bed are connected by a zipper, allowing you to use the beds either as one double bed or two single beds. One bed has a comfortable size of 35.43 x 78.74 x 0 in (90 x 200 x cm. cm). The memory foam layer of the mattresses gives them added comfort and support, and the mattresses and cushions come with removable fabric covers. Inside the cushions you will find two mattress toppers, two duvets and four pillows, meaning that the Day&Night sofa bed contains everything you need to accommodate two people – you only need to provide them with bedsheets.

You can also equip the sofa bed with armrests, which are sold separately. The sleek, wooden armrests can be attached to one or both ends of the sofa according to your liking.

In 2022, the Day&Night soda bed received significant international recognition as the Prize Designs for Modern Furniture + Lighting Winner. The sofa bed has also won the Good Design Award and the Iconic Awards: Interior Innovation Award.
