The String Pocket shelf is part of the String storage system designed by Nils Strinning in 1949. Since its launch in 2005, the light yet sturdy shelf has found its place in innumerable homes and uses. The special edition String Pocket consists of oiled oak veneer shelves with a gray pigment and side panels in metal. The shelf has a distinctly raw, industrial look that is softened by the oiled, silky surface of the shelves that, despite the gray pigment, beautifully shows the natural grain of the wood.
