Sibast No 9 is one of the iconic wooden chairs designed by Danish cabinetmaker Helge Sibast in the 1950s. Created in 1953, the functional and refined Chair No 9 borrows its forms from two chairs designed that same year, No 7 and No 8: from the first, the smooth, curved backrest, and from the latter, the Y-shaped leg structure. The wool-upholstered chair is a fine example of modern Danish craftsmanship, and it is part of the Sibast Furniture collection featuring Helge Sibast’s original works and new Danish design.
