Johanna Gullichsen Nereus mattress cover for Aalto day bed 710

Johanna Gullichsen’s Nereus mattress cover is a modern interpretation of old Finnish weaving traditions. Designed especially for the Aalto day bed 710 by Artek, the 35.43 x 78.74 in (90 x 200 cm) mattress cover can be combined e.g. with the Familon Master Safe foam mattress. The mattress cover has a zipper on the long side.

The Nereus mattress cover belongs to Johanna Gullichsen’s Normandie collection, inspired by the era of luxury ocean liners and a slow, elegant way of traveling. Made of thick, double-sided cotton, the Normandie collection features various graphic patterns in Scandinavian tones, all designed and woven in Finland.
