Design House Stockholm Sand cup 35 cl

Design House Stockholm’s Sand cup is made from high-fired stoneware. The 11.83 fl oz (3,5 dl) cup is great for serving any hot drinks.

Designed by Carina Seth Andersson, the Sand tableware was created originally for the restaurant NM& at Stockholm’s Nationalmuseum. Seth Andersson thought that the tableware’s sandy hue is reminiscent of the museum building’s color and wanted to leave the tableware partially unglazed – this way the tableware retains some of the material’s soft, raw feel and varying shade.

Please note that the Sand collection was updated slightly in 2022: older Sand tableware has a small NM& logo engraved on its surface, while the newer ones are not engraved.
